^^^Thanks. I had not noticed that little forum. I’ve been seeing pics of that FLE. Very nice watch and surprisingly well priced.

Whilst I got to visit and talk with the people of the brands I'd intended to;-

Christopher Ward; Patrick Gilbertson, Adrian Buchmann, Mike France, Peter Ellis, Will Brackfield, Olivia Blackstad, and Kate Peregrine.

Elliot Brown; Gem and Guy

Pinion; Piers, who had a gorgeous burgundy dial Neutorn LE that he'd held back for the day.

Schofield; Giles

Zero West; Graham, who scarily remembered that, when I'd chatted with him at the WatchIt WatchFair a year or so ago, I'd declared that I didn't like the lugs on his watches.

. . .and I had a brief look at a few others, one that caught my eye that I'd not heard of before, was Helicon.

They were launching their Master 62 vintage prototype inspired dive watch which I took quite a shine to, especially the Claret dial version.

No photos from the day, but this arrived this morning;-

Looks like the one.  It has a Dragon or Firebird engraved on the caseback.

An LE of 100 pieces, sold out a while back but Piers kept two aside for the British Watchmakers Day.

I wonder if he sold them. :-k :-k

Short article in The Guardian about the day, and the British watchmaking industry in general.
