They do...and frequently much worse than males due to the heavier use of creams and lotions.
So the ladies have cream cheese! :D
My mother-in-law is a heavy user of creams and lotions. Once when they were visiting, my wife noticed that her rings were very caked and gunky. Out came the jewelry cleaner. Between the ultrasonic and steam functions (not to mention a soft toothbrush and elbow grease) we probably cleaned 5 pounds of body cheese off her rings and bracelets. She was amazed at how shiny her jewelry was after cleaning and swore to take her rings off before using lotions. That didn't last. After all, why bother when a family member owns the tools to clean the gunk? :kotz:

It wasn't too bad!
Yikes. Did you get yourself the special tool 107 for the removal or did you improvise with some other instrument?

Nah, I'm careful about the lotions and creams!

As for cleaning jewellery, a bit of toothpaste and an old toothbrush works wonders!

So gross on so many levels. I know what I'll be doing tonight ... every piece of jewelry is getting cleaned.

an ultrasonic has been on my list for a while. haven't worn a bracelet watch for more than a year, yet, but it's probably time to be prepared. plus there's other jewelry. something to add to my amazon wish list, with the holidays coming up.

although my favorite jeweler washes our rings for free any time we stop by (they should, we've given them enough money). i wonder if they'd toss a watch bracelet or two in there for me...

Top tip....

If you're going to try using toothpaste, then use children's toothpaste as it's less abrasive.
So I wish I was James Bond, just for the day.
