Me too, although I already have too many white-dialed dress watches!
Me three 40mm is an excellent size

Personally I think all black hands on the monopusher would take a lot away from the dial of the watch and possibly leave the watch feeling a bit stale. What about using blued steel hands in place of the lighter steel main time hour and minute hands?

That sounds interesting. An alternative limited edition one day maybe?

Love the big date but the minute and second hands are too short and the obfuscation of the 3o'clock is just awful.

I liked this immediately, not 100% on the day / date but I could live with it. Plus I'd like a dress watch and don't have any white faced watches.......

Wish list increased.

I love this new c9 but calling it big date is a bit miss leading since normally "big date" refers to a dual disc complication. Still love the watch though.

I regret to have to inform you that that is simply not possible. Please get your Meds adjusted.

It is called a C9 Harrison Big Day-Date, and it has dual discs. One for day and one for date. :)

Whichever way you look at it Kip it's a misleading title, typical of CW hyperbole. It can't be a big C9 as the case is the same size as the other C9's and the date is certainly not as it's on a standard 31 day wheel. The day may be oversized but the proportions look to me to be the same as the C20 and C50 which aren't referred to as a big anything.

It IS though a very smart bit of kit & the only CWL apart from the C11 MSL that I would consider purchasing...though not at the full price obviously

It is hardly misleading...
it is a C9
it is a big day-date because the day date bit is big ;)

Sorry, but I don't see it as misleading at all.

It is not a Big C9...It is a C9 Big Day-Date.

Our eyes must be different, because I am looking at a C20 and C50 and comparing it to a photo of the C9. The C9 Day-Date looks larger to me. If the print is larger, or oversize as you say, why would that not qualify? Certainly if it is larger than anything CWL has built so far, I don't see a problem.

Until we actually get them side by side we can't get an actual measurement anyway. Even if it was the same as a C50 or C20, and I am not seeing that, just because they were not called a big anything does not preclude CWL from calling this a Big Day-Date.

Maybe it is not as big as a Zenith or A.lange or Sohne Big Date (I don't know) or others, but it is not called a "Biggest Day-Date".

o·ver·size (ō′vər-sīz′)
n.
1. A size that is larger than usual.

2. An oversize article or object.

adj. o·ver·size (ō′vər-sīz′) also o·ver·sized (-sīzd′)
Larger in size than usual or necessary.

IF the day/date aperture was to be the same size as that on previous CWL watches, then the title of this one would be a bit disingenuous.
