I like the idea for the same reasons.
I quite like the watch but with no association to the parachute regiment it would feel a bit weird to own or wear one of the originals.
I won’t commit at this stage, but pending final design and pricing decisions I’d be interested.

This is my sentiment too - and I think I expressed as much in the original thread. Unfortunately right now I can't commit.cwa wrote: ↑Tue Jun 28, 2022 4:26 am I like the idea for the same reasons.

I think its quite simple at this point. Have the chat with CW, establish feasibility and price (perhaps based on the pics above). Drop a thread on here and perhaps the CWE Facebook group to see if enough will commit and go from there.
Good luck with the endeavour, its a nice design.

Thanks for the advice, I’ll update the post when I’ve heard back from CW. CheersSoporsche wrote: ↑Tue Jun 28, 2022 11:33 am I think its quite simple at this point. Hi guys
I’ve heard from Beckie and she’s sending over the details to the workshop to enquire about numbers needed but said it could be more than 25 as they need to produce a new exhibition case back for the watch. I replied to say that it’s already partially exhibition and you just need to not apply the coin when you make it.
What I didn’t expect was the reply which said ‘ Ah so the coin on the back is actually a piece of injected carbon press fitted with a gasket into the sapphire so if you remove it you have a big hole’
I replied to say I’m glad I didn’t try to remove my one as I was worried I’d scratch the sapphire but turns out quite a few people tried when it was first released and they had lots of repairs to do where people thought like me it was stuck on
I’ll update on here when I hear back about the numbers but looks like this wont be viable.
PS if you know anyone who already has a Colchester tell them to not try and remove the coin

I would love for a plain back version, not only to see the movement, but I also think it would be slightly more comfy.
Re: Bespoke C63 Colchester possible / interest
Having already got a Colchester but I would 100% be interested in a standard exhibition caseback without the coin. I think you could easily get 30 people to sign up to that.
I also think it would help CW sales if they offered a plain caseback version.
