I ordered my Bel Canto (black) back in Dec 2022 and I've just got an email saying it won't be ready until Feb 2024

I just did my fuming about my new target delivery of November 2023 for my Rosa version (ordered December 20, 2022) on another thread.

I ordered it on the exact same day as you but then there was mistake so they had to refund and redo the order. They assured me I hadn't lost my place in the queue...

Did you receive an email earlier this year to say your watch entered production?
And did they previously provide a target delivery time frame?

Nope I didn't. They kept assuring my I hadn't lost my place in the production queue but it's obvious I have especially as we both ordered on the same day

Just checked my emails and the target delivery time frame was October 2023.

My only guess in their defense (and believe me I am not defending these folks) is perhaps the black faced watches are scheduled for production after some of the other 4 post limited edition colors.

Some of what they don't seem to get is the experience is an end to end thing.
For me, I really liked the Bel Canto and was willing to order one and wait for it.
They got the appetite really spooling up with the teasers and saying my watch entered production.
Then things have gone in the wrong direction, lack of communication, followed by a we are running late but no advice, and now advice but with a long extension to the wait, leading to a lack of belief on my part.

Yes I completely agree with. The hype at the beginning was great and like you I was happy to wait. Now it just seems like we could be waiting for a very long time

Initial delivery was June, just been told that now its October for a Cielo...
They said there is no impact on the Vulcan BC (April 2024) but very sceptical...

19th January.

I ordered a black BC on 20/12/22 and was given a June 23 delivery date.No sign of it by end of June,so I cancelled my order and bought others from Zero West and Farer.I had a background doubt anyway about being able to actually tell the time on the BC as the time dial is so small.The other 2 new ones are perfectly legible..even without my reading glasses.
I suppose with my cancellation,everybody else moves one up in the queue.
