The dial colour isn't for me. I do like the Blue Hnads though. I wonder if I can get a set for my Bel Canto.

And, AVO, peanuts aren't nuts. They're legumes.

I'll bet that you're firmly tongue in cheek knowing that CW has never sold spare parts. Maybe over at luxury outlier Aliexpress?

Well there was one special build C8 GMT with a black case and white dial and hands... I don't know how that came about but maybe there's a way to get blued hands for a Bel Canto. Probably not though but you don't get if you don't ask.

I would say that it is more about what you are willing to pay. I am sure there is a craftsman somewhere in the world that would take your Bel Canto and make any modifications you want. It will cost you and void the warranty but you get the watch you want. I am all for the freedom of expression.

I think there will come a time when customization and restoration isn't looked down upon as much as it is currently.

As this is a Bespoke (private) edition of the Bel Canto, assuming enough orders were placed for the project to progress to production (which we do not know here on the Forum whether there were), I'm sure those who placed orders have been kept in the loop on the timeline to delivery.

However, no information has filtered through to the forum as yet; nor would I expect it to.

As to delays with the 'other production runs' the Blue went through fine, there was a delay on the Green due to quality control issues with the dial, and the open series colours are not expected until the Autumn.

I recall someone saying they got the production email for their Bel Canto Rosa in a post a few weeks ago. The Watches@ Bel Canto was slated for end of July delivery and yet they haven't responded to any emails I've sent asking for an update.

I'm a little annoyed at the lack of communication. The Watches@ edition was paid in full too instead of a deposit.

Here we go, a Rosa going into production just shy of 3 months ago: viewtopic.php?p=967343#p967343

No news in a while
I have to believe these folks are super backed up from quality issues
So bad that they don’t have a clue what to say to their customers

Received a reply this morning from a customer service advisor that I will be receiving an email update in the next few days outlining delivery details. At least it is something rather than getting no reply.
Unforced is right to mention that we paid in full - it is probably why we feel in the dark as to the status of the production since we never got the "pay the rest of the amount" email.
Hope this is good news and not just a standard reply for an email update that will say production has been delayed.
Fingers crossed.

I got a reply from CW this morning as well but not with any details. Seems like they monitor this forum.

A reply without any details is a forced error.
Look, we know they are trying to produce watches for us.
Time to man up and be honest with their customers.
I am looking forward to enjoying my Bel Canto (some day) but the lack of customer service here is a direct reflection of their leadership's ability (in this case lack there of) to manage a difficult situation, and leads me to saying, one and done with this brand.

Maybe there was a bit of making hay while the sun shines for CW.

You get an unprecedented successful watch, for 4 times your normal price point. I'm sure a normal reaction might be to secure all the orders for it immediately, rather than see them disappear.

I was surprised there have been so many other new releases in the last year which must also strain their resources.

Well, Mike updated me this morning that while some of my colleagues will receive their watch at the end of the month, mine will be delayed until the end of September - parts were rejected for quality. Unfortunate.
Hopefully Unforced is in the group that will receive theirs on time.
I'm thankful for the update. I can also take the delay for the highest quality/perfection. But anyone here would agree with me that they would be very unhappy if they receive a watch with imperfections after such a delay.
I await patiently for the result of this process and will hope for the best.

I appreciate the kind wishes but I am in the same camp as you and delayed until end of September due to QC issues with the bridges. Hopefully this means there will be less finishing artifacts that can be seen in early blue models under macro.
