Bel Canto watches@
Re: Bel Canto watches@
Very nice. That purple pops! I'm sold on the bracelet now. Hopefully CW will let me change my order from the strap to the bracelet.Spytap wrote: ↑Thu Dec 21, 2023 2:47 am Here's a quick and dirty wrist roll, fingerprints and all: https://imgur.com/a/6XyZy1y
What is your wrist size?
Re: Bel Canto watches@
7.25 inches, but pretty flat. 41mm is my sweet spot size.Enzo wrote: ↑Thu Dec 21, 2023 5:19 amVery nice. That purple pops! I'm sold on the bracelet now. The bracelet is great. Grade 2 titanium instead of 5, so it'll scratch more than the case, but the lightness is a worthy tradeoff for me. I ended up getting both the strap and bracelet, but I haven't bothered putting the strap on.
Re: Bel Canto watches@
I'm a hair over 6.75 inches but I think I can pull it off. 40mm is usually my sweet spot so 41 will work. The Bel Canto does look a little chunky though. Thanks again for the pics and wrist roll. It confirmed to me that Purple was the right choice of the colors available.Spytap wrote: ↑Thu Dec 21, 2023 6:04 am7.25 inches, but pretty flat. 41mm is my sweet spot size.Enzo wrote: ↑Thu Dec 21, 2023 5:19 amVery nice. Re: Bel Canto watches@
Those are phone photos, so the wide angle lens accentuates the girthiness of the case. In person, it looks somewhat daintier. My friend has the same circumference wrist as me, but with less "surface area" on top, and it looks great on him as well. So you'll be fine. Agreed on the colors - I think the contrast really helps accentuate the design and show off the different surfaces, and the best colors for the Bel Canto are the darker ones that provide the most contrast.Enzo wrote: ↑Thu Dec 21, 2023 6:34 amI'm a hair over 6.75 inches but I think I can pull it off. 40mm is usually my sweet spot so 41 will work. Thanks again for the Otium recommendation.Spytap wrote: ↑Wed Dec 06, 2023 9:19 pm @Grand Seiko Melisse, yes, but pre-2020 back when we lived in Santa Monica. But agreed: it was excellent. We're living downtown these days, so there's plenty to explore in and around here, Hollywood, and the like. Otium and Bestia are two of our current faves, with Damian and Rossoblu taking the place of our most-frequently-enjoyed upscale/fine dining restaurants. Realistically, we could go a decade without ever visiting the same restaurant twice in this town, which is a blessing and a curse.
Dined there last Saturday night when I arrived in LA, excellent meal and I was seated across from the kitchen and enjoyed watching the folks make it happen.
If you can't get enough purple in you life I tried on this Moser at Westime on Rodeo.

Dear all, now that 2024 arrived, I wish you A Happy New Year with quick deliveries.
I am close to one year in my waiting for the Bel Canto Rosa, but postponed by CW for July 2024.
Any recent deliveries, especially for the Rosa?

Re: Bel Canto watches@
This quite possibly the most joyous post I've read to date 2024 lol, very excited
Re: Bel Canto watches@
I believe this is a scam. It is impossible to have the same delivery date as for a new order, despite waiting almost one year. I canceled my Bel Canto order. I'll buy it one year from now 30% off, while getting 5.5% interest on my money, and not CW.

Re: Bel Canto watches@
Dang that sucks! Over a year and a half wait is pretty unacceptable for an open series. I'm hoping to get my second LE Bel Canto before Q4 this year.

Re: Bel Canto watches@
Just received my viola Bel Canto today. Can someone tell me what size screwdriver I need to use so I can adjust the bracelet?
