Most of the time it is at 1000
Hybrids are funny things and a lot goes on in support of charging the Hybrid battery, and that was just after start up
I'll take a picture in the Lucid, no tach in that car
I understand that.
I thought it was maybe something to do with it being in 'Sport'.
With my car (full fat petrol), normal 'D' idle is c. 750-800rpm but in Sport or Cupra it's more like 1,300rpm - ready for a swift getaway.

Were I to get an EV right now, it would 100% be a Lucid. Excellent taste sir. As it stands, I am also full fat petrol for the time being. So we’ll see how it matches the interior of my Alfa.

Thank You for the compliment.
Why is Alfa able to provide designs so much better than pretty much every other manufacturer? I mean no one uses a rotary phone yet their wheel designs based on the rotary phone are timeless.
I particularly liked the 8C and enjoy pronouncing Quadrifoglio.
For my full fat as you phrase it, I have a Lexus LC500 Convertible with the happy 5L V8 noisemaker.

One of the best engines ever produced. Well chosen. I do have a Giulia Quadrifoglio, and it's very fun to pronounce. Shockingly easy to live with as well - I'd heard the horror stories, but I'm 20K miles in with nary an issue to be found beyond my cheeks hurting from the grin and my start/stop turning itself off one day and never returning (oh no...) But you're right about Alfa's designers - there's something in the water over there - everything they make is just pure art.

Good Stuff!
I am looking forward to seeing the specs the lucky 33 owners create.
Also wondering what the mix will be between the ePower vs Twin Turbo V6 versions.
Looking forward to hearing how you like your new timepiece
Here is another picture of mine after a drive today
Picked it up this morning. Great watch. For sure it will get plenty of wrist time!
Enjoy it in the best of health!
How was the in person experience?
This time it was rushed, but I was mainly only went there to drop off one of my other watches for warranty repair, so I don't mind that. I still had time to see all the pieces they can offer, including seeing the new 36mm aventurine watch and all other colours of BC's, etc, but I was in and out in 5 minutes.. They managed to see me without appointment, so I knew I will not be there to be pampered

This was potentially discussed before, but should the watch ding exactly at whole hours? Mine seems to ding at 59-59:30
Mine seems to ting right about when my iPhone changes to the next hour (just checked again based on your post).
It's nice that you have local access.
When you are on site, is there someone who might be able to field questions like this?
I am hoping this is not something "wrong" that requires the watch to be serviced.

Here is a video of the issue. Small but annoying..

That’s not operating as intended, no. It’s an hour chime, not a 59 min chime.
Thanks for providing the video
I hate when I get a new toy and it has to go in to have something corrected, but it looks like that is the road you are on here
Update: order dispatched. Should be delivered some time next week. And I’ve heard that at least two other violas have been delivered, so it sounds like those are starting to ship out. Haven’t seen or heard of a Nero yet, but in theory those should be shipping out soon too.
