Is there a way I can attach a basic vid done on an iPhone 12?

I can see how it would be hard to read. That’s a lot of tone on tone, almost monochromatic. Colored dial hands or colored time dial could help.

Not really, I'm afraid. The best way is to upload the video to YouTube and then embed a link to the video here within some [ youtube ] [ /youtube ] tags (minus the spaces).

I'd love to have that Bel Canto in my collection. I'm sure someone else will love that watch soon

A couple of things to point out with this, just for information. No criticism intended.

Firstly, the OP doesn't yet have enough forum posts to be able to post in the Sales Corner.

Secondly, even if he were able to, he wouldn't be allowed to advertise the watch for more than he paid CW for it, it being a new watch. This rule is to discourage flipping and profiteering (from CW sales, etc) on the forum.

More info can be found in the Rules section. I would provide a link, but that's tricky using Tapatalk!
Is that just for CWs, or all brands ?

You can see why that special order BC with the blue (blued?) hands was so well received, can't you.

The purple was my favourite of the 4 general release colours. I thought it had a similar saturated colour tone as the blue and green, while the others didn't really have that. The black did, obviously, but it wasn't a vibrant colour.

That video is helpful. The original pic made the watch look pretty drab and one dimensional. My immediate thought was that a darker background is needed as a contrast for the dial design. However, the video does show the way the the light reacts to the dial and brings it to life a little. Probably best bought and worn in a sunny climate.

Nothing wrong with that bracelet - if it were a Seiko 5!

Checked the concept one, way nicer. The Compressor one is very similar to the Bel Canto🙄

My mistake, my apologies

This happens all the time on external sites, just look at the prices asked. Why shouldn’t a forum member benefit too.
A forum member could benefit too, just not at this forum. Take it to EBay, take it to any online selling site. I guess that's the same attitude as returning it to CW for a refund.

I actually think it is kind of cute but I have no need for an hourly chime watch, what's it called, "rattrapante" I believe, and I like a watch to be LEGIBLE!
So not for me.
But more power to those who love it enjoy it. Certainly a tour de force from CW.
I am surprised that the return process is so odious. I always thought CW made it very easy to return watches. Certainly something to keep in mind.

This watch isn't for telling time though. It's for "hey look what I've got! And it chimes on the hour!"

And maybe "I bought it at full retail, what a bargain!"

My rather more serious point is that looking at the "watch laying on it's side" photo I honestly can't read the time or say with certainty whether the watch is 3 o'clock up or 9 o'clock up: to me that's a bit of a clock up    Black hands would hve worked..... :?

A rattrapante is a double chronograph. Like a normal chronograph but it has two seconds hands. You stop one and the other keeps going, then when you release the stopped hand it catches up with the main one and continues to time. It’s used as a split or lap function when timing.

The chiming thing is known as a sonnerie.

Rattrapante and sonnerie probably mean something in another language as I suspect they are not just made up words, but there’s more cunning linguists than me on here who might be able to confirm this.
