Hi all

Looking for some wisdom and advice.

I purchased a BC classic back in December from MH showroom and was promised end of Feb delivery. Had an email last week saying it was still on track for delivery but with a different strap. Now had an email saying it will be delivered end of March. I can foresee this going on and on.

Should I just request a refund and buy a BB 58 which I’ve had my eye on for a while. The lack of communication throughout the process has really left a sour taste in my mouth.

Anyone who’s been in a similar situation, any advice?

If you have already paid I would wait and see before cancelling.

If you really want the BC, then wait. If you've decided that you prefer a BB 58, cancel and get that.

If you really can't decide: it's a binary choice, flip a coin - heads cancel/tails wait. Whatever comes up, if you feel disappointed at the result - well, there's your answer.

But to add (and similar thread to my post) - if end of March rather than end of April as per the email I had, you have 3 weeks to wait, which is not too long in my mind. But how much of a factor in your mind is it having a different strap to your original order? I might or might not be bothered by that, depending on the difference.

As a Bel Canto owner, got mine last year the Bespoke Phoenix and waited over a year for it (paid up front), but that was the pre-order timeline back then . . .

. ..I'd wait. At least CW seems to be on top of letting you know of the delay.

Ultimately though; it's up to you.

Just did this. Looks like I’m waiting for the BC Classic!
Been a rubbish day in general so probably just getting more annoyed by this than I should!

I would wait. It's not much longer now, and if you do decide you would prefer something else you can always just return it.

I don’t mean to be insensitive and rub salt in the wound, but I got my BC Classic much sooner than expected. It was supposed to arrive at the end of March, but they dispatched it on March 4th, and I had it in my hands by March 6th. So that was a nice happy surprise. I`m sorry yours is taking longer to get you. Hope you'll get it soon. Wait for it, its an amazing watch

Ah that’s incredible! Bet you’re loving it. I went to the BWD yesterday and seeing it in person again reignited what I felt for it the first time I saw it. So will 100% be waiting for it!
