Just got this winder from brookstone. It is extremely quiet and fullynprogrammable for turns per day and turn direction, independantly for each motor. Price was a very reasonable $200.

Looks good. Give us an update in a couple weeks and lets us know how it is working out.

I didn't even know Brookstone sold winders.

Will do...ive had it a few days now and all my autos are still running, i'll update everyone after a few weeks. I was suprised that brookstone hadvwinders too. I found this one by searching forums like watchuseek. The brookstone generally got very good reviews.

I recommend it as it has space to cope with large watches (both tall and wide) without a problem.

As for winders......... I don't use 'em. :)
I'd second Downer's recommendation for the Dulwich Designs box. Not the cheapest, but I have tried some cheaper options and they were too much of a compromise.

The Dulwich Designs boxes are pretty good for the money, the external leather is finished fairly nicely, and the interior is quite nice too.

Ultimately though the interior is just suede on a tough cardboard (see close up below) - so it is built to a price. Also the lock is a bit superfluous. But overall these seem a good bet (I have a _few _  )

Interior construction:

Exterior finish

Slightly pointless and fiddly locking mechanism:

But good space for everything from the smaller C5s up to the 43mm and larger sizes:-
