Archive / Prototype, bits & bobs - Available

Post by Bahnstormer_vRS »

Whilst I was on my CW Showroom visit yesterday, I asked Declan if he had anything 'special' available, perhaps a prototype or two as, following our CW Forum Private Prototype and Archive Sale this time last year, I'd bought some Prototypes from him.

He disappeared off for a few minutes and returned with a tray of goodies.

Thank you, Guy, for sharing the specials offerings. It’s fun to see the oddities and inspirations CW have pursued. Having landed a couple of prototypes in the past, I can affirm they are every bit as good as production models for fit, finish, and overall quality. The differences they present are interesting for those looking for something a little different. I hope to see folks jump on these.

Thanks for this Guy, you know how much I like an LE or a prototype. Nothing quite right for me there but good to see they’ve still got some hidden gem behind closed doors.
Did he mention anything about another prototype sale coming up?

Glad they went with the matching day-date wheels on my C7 Rapide.

Is email the best way to contact, or should I follow up with a call too? I don't want to hassle the guy, but I do want to buy a watch from the list above!!

Email is the best means of contact with perhaps a cc. to showroom@christopherward.co.uk.

If you don't get a timely reply, by all means feel free to follow up by phone.

I'm aware the C1 Morgan Aero has been sold and, possibly, one of the C60 Sunrise, beyond those I'll ask Declan for an updated availability.

I'm still awaiting a reply from Declan from an email that I sent to him on the 1st April (hope he doesn't think its an April fool :-s ).
If the watch is still available great :D
...but if not, that'll save me a few hundred quid

Same here, emailed on the 1st then again last week and got a reply to say there had been lots of interest and he would get to everyone in between doing his other tasks

It has been 3 weeks now since I emailed originally on 1st April and I still have no answer from Declan regarding my enquiry, other than to say he was working through them in date order i have heard nothing. I am thinking it may be time to give up my hopes of what I was looking to add to my collection.

I would be another forum member that sent Declan an enquiry three weeks ago on April 1st & never received a reply. With the impending new watch release & the delivery of my Forum LE in a few weeks, I will be fine.
