Apex Family Picture
Re: Apex Family Picture
That is an awesome collection, thank you for sharing
As an aside, is that a CW watch box... I’m looking for one to put some of my newly acquired lot in, and that looks ideal

Re: Apex Family Picture
Yup; CW box.
I've got three of these, plus one of their older six watch boxes, a couple of Wolf 10 watch boxes with display lids and a couple of Dulwich design 12 watch with display lid boxes.
The CW ones are quite reasonably priced for their quality, which is excellent. The slots are wide enough for 44mm - 46mm watches and the cushions are perfectly sized for leaving straps/bracelets done up as for my 7.5" wrist. If you have a significantly smaller wrist, say <6.75" you'll have to leave the clasp on bracelets open.
Usual storage location, in one of my wardrobes, for the CW boxes;-

Please take another look.

What a wonderful collection. I think I’d find myself just staring at the movements for hours on end.
Again, thanks for sharing!

Thanks for that Guy. That box looks perfect, and my wrist size is about the sameBahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 12:30 amYup; CW box.

I did buy a Wolf Savoy watch box a few weeks ago, but now my collection has exceeded its capacity, I’m going to use that for a few watches that I’m using, or perhaps even just the “dressier” watches for now.
Likewise, intend to store some away in this box, leave some out in the Wolf and then leave two automatics on my winders...or something like that

Thanks for the additional descriptions. Love them all, but the C7 Apex along with the 'deep dark' especially. I've soft spot for that style of C7

Re: Apex Family Picture
Such a lovely set of watches, and that Me109 movement is really interesting as a counterpoint to the SH21s
Hopefully that and the Al Deere play nicely together in the box

Re: Apex Family Picture
Thank you, it's taken a while to get together, but I'm pleased now that it is.
Hopefully not too green!
I believe they do Gary.
Cheers Peter.
Its a shame CW have dropped that type of C7 case; maybe I need to look at Bremont some more.

I agree completely. It was a beautiful case. And I really liked the hollowed out lugs.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Fri Feb 12, 2021 3:17 pm Its a shame CW have dropped that type of C7 case; maybe I need to look at Bremont some more.
