I phoned CW last week, I was told that they would be ready for shipment 2nd October. Phoned CW today (01/10/09) and was told by the head office that they had been delayed. The shipment is now due in around 7-8th October, delivery from 09/10/09. Hope this helps. Has anyone else phoned CW ?

I hope you didn't specify a serial number as sods law says it won't be in the 1st batch.

Silly you Yoda....of course not. I couldn't find a Sherpa to lead the expedition to London so I put together a wagon train.

Yes I did specify a serial number, I will let know if I get it.
My biggest regret is that I will now be away working in away in France during the expected delivery week so it looks like I will have to wait another week to see it. I may let my wife open the box and send me a picture!

Hi Mark,

I received an E-mail from Wera on Thursday which confirmed they had received the watches (cases) on Thursday. However they are just waiting on the straps from the supplier. She confirmed these should be received today or Monday. At which point the "complete watch" will be shipped so hpefully by end of next week. I hope so anyway as i am sad as it sounds quite excited about receiving it.

Hope the above helps

Yes...see 'Say Hello'...UB (it's very nice indeed, bought the steel strap so this is now fitted and waiting for the leather to come)

Isn't Wera so efficient? I was so taken by surprise when the Mail rang the door this morning as she only emailed me yesterday; they are also doing computer updates and training this weekend. I posted my first impressions on the 'Say Hello' thread and photos on Gallery...UB

hello everyone, again

I have been told this afternoon that the C40 straps are now not due until Friday this week. I am terribly sorry about this, seems a hold up on the buckle.....so we did not post out today as promised earlier in the week. It is priority for us, and will ship out as soon as in. I'll keep everyone posted....sorry about this :- :(

Thank you Wera for the most current information.

I am sure you are doing the best you can.

There may be some disappointment, but it is not life or death. It's a watch. I am sure most of us can find another one to wear for a few more days.
