The next 'batch' are due in a coupe of weeks, but my wife, of course, only wants a seal point female with particular markings, and as they are all born white, it'll be awhile before we know if one is 'the one'scooter wrote:Mrs Cherry definitely on the ball there!!

TBH Natalie has wanted this cat since we et, and as that's over 15 years, I 'm happy we've finally got to this point.

Such a waste of a good quality magazine, especially with Kip in it. Got mine on Saturday.

I have just finished my paper copy. Whatever anyone says, the online version just doesn't feel the same as licking ones fingers to turn the pages of a paper copy. Thoroughly enjoyed Kip's article, the 'Guardians of the skies' article and the overall feel of the magazine. The photography, as already mentioned somewhere else, is exemplary but what really makes this magazine special is the lack of rows of watches and their prices so that now, instead of an overt sales magazine, we have a lifestyle magazine, a move which a really like. One downside. My son now wants a C11 Elite and my daughter wants a W11 Amelia. This could get expensive!

Good job my wife says she now has enough watches and my son doesn't wear one (never really has).jmarchitect wrote: One downside. My son now wants a C11 Elite and my daughter wants a W11 Amelia. This could get expensive!
Idea of a lifestyle magazine is great; makes it a good read and is fine for the coffee table. Might contact CWL to send me a second copy to go in the magazine rack for the reception seating in the (serviced) office building I work in.

Got my copy yesterday. Only flicked so far. Article featuring Kip was great.
Interesting points from my flick through. I like the white Amelia W11 for the other half. The Bluebird blue looks better in the magazine than the website as does the new all blue C60. It will being interesting to see these colours when pictures are posted on here of the watches in the wild.
Looking forward to the F1 series. Sounds great.

Re: Anyone got the new CW magazine / brochure in the post ye
My mag came yesterday. As others have said, a far better read on paper than online, where it doesn't fit on my screen, I have to zoom in the make it large enough to read, and then have to pan round it to see different parts of the page.
In my pedant mode: Page 10 "This year is a very good time to get involved in apiary." Looks like the writer thinks that "apiary" is the study of bees, or "beekeeping", whereas an "apiary" is actually a place where beehives are kept. So you can't "get involved in it". I can't actually find an Apis derived word meaning "beekeeping"* - a beekeeper is (apparently) an "apiarist", and the scientific study of bees is "apiology", but neither of those work in this context. Doesn't seem a better way of saying it than "...get involved in beekeeping".
So there! I'll get back to looking at the watches. Bit too much "motor-sport" for my liking, but I know that CW are into that kind of thing.
* Later edit - OK - "apiculture" if we must use fancy names.

Got mine yesterday too, or is that as well, although I nearly had to rescue it from the recycling box!
Mrs Bahnstormer though it might be a catalogue and, having just bought my 5th CWL watch (C60 Khaki), I'm told I now have enough and why would I need a catalogue. A quick explanation that it is the six monthly Lifestyle magazine enabled me to keep it, but I'm now on a promise of 'one out / one in' if I want any further watches.
