That could be an interesting route Leo. Are there any divers out there that you really like?

I fear you're to be disappointed Leo. With the C65 having the re-aligned date window, but still using the same case, I'd bet that's the way any new diver will go.....MK2 C60.

Got to agree. Until sales start to dry up, the C60 case is here today!

Leo David wrote:Since we're resurrecting an old theme my answer is niet , niet, niet. This isn't a negative response to black cases. It is a negative response to the C60. If there's one watch in the line up that has been overkilled by CW its the Trident in all its incarnations and that's going some because in my world it has stiff competition from the C9 family of tedious watches. I would welcome a new dive watch but it must be a significant departure from the current model - new case, new dial, re-positioned date window and date wheel to match the dial or better still no date wheel, new hands and lume that works. If we're simply talking about another Trident then yuk!
Blah blah blah.

I like my Trident but I don't want a PVD one. And my lume works on both my Tridents.

The C11 Makaira Pro is the alternative new diver which does not look like any other diver. Can't get further away from the C60 than the C11.

Personally I think they got it right with the C600 and I have a Makaira Pro.

I seemed to miss out on the C60 completely.

The C600 is the one that got away from CW. I think it had massive potential.

The C11 is a cracking dive watch and very unique. Love my Makaira!

The alignment of the c60 date window does not bother me, and from photos the c65 does not look much different. What has changed exactly?

However, the fact that the wheel is white on a black faced c60 model does irk me a little. Why? Some subtle changes to the c60 would make it an even better watch than it is now

Back to the original question, i would be interested in a pvd or ceramic c60.

^This. I would sit nicely alongside the C60, maybe it was ahead of its time as seems to be more appreciation for it now?

I think the thing with the C600, is that it was more of a unique CW design than say the C60, which while very nice, lacks its own identity a little IMO.

No interest in a C60 PVD on my end but with 3 C60's I am a fan of that specific watch :)

On the last 2014 poll imbw posted a mock up of a PvD trident on a typhoon strap which looked fantastic and got a lot of positive response. It's the only trident I've been tempted with so far as agree that colour options and bezels have been done to death. Not sure how to repost pictures will leave it to someone more tech savvy.
A reworking of the c600 would be great but may be seen as a step backwards by Chris and the team.

Yes I do. Here are 3 for starters in more or less the same price bracket as the Trident: I like the design and execution (in pictures anyway) of the Halios Tropik which I think looks really clean; look closely at the build and design of the Stowa seatime http://www.stowa.de/cosmoshop/pix/a/z/s ... lenc_1.jpg (possibly with red bezel); and 'cos I'm in love the dial http://bathyswatch.com/main.php?link=au ... umgreydial

Ian - I'm glad the lume works on your Tridents. That's great. I wished it had worked on the one I owned. I'm not anti Trident. I'm simply bored of it and i feel its retirement is long overdue. The competition out there for money is very strong and at the moment I would rather spend it on any of the above three mentioned watches than a Trident. Of course this is just a personal view and others will disagree and have their own views.

I quite fancy a PVD divers watch and may just go for a Steinhart Ocean Black to cure the itch, I am sure it would be cheaper than a C60 version.

No doubt you guys love the c60 and c600 but how long are they going to be continually rehashed . Please no more of it i agree with davidleo .
Hows about something new or will it be another rehash again and again yawn.
