Or do what I did. I figure she doesn't fully know about my finances for another 5 months so until then I can get away with buying stuff. Of course, now I have 2 watches she doesnt know about. They're 2 of my more expensive watches so it'll be interesting when she does find out about them.jasonjuiceon wrote:Ugh ever since getting the email the lure of the C9 GMT is too much.
Having just received my c9 fle literally a day ago. How do I peacefully mention (ask for permission lol) this to the fiance?!

Ooo previews not too far off. I think I will wait this one out.Kip wrote:Most new models are officially released for preorder in September. We usually are able to get some sneak previews by June or July.jasonjuiceon wrote: How often does CW release new models? Any specific time of the year?
Stick around as I am hoping for something soon.

I have thought about this offer long and hard...and been very tempted. It would be my 3rd CWL in 2 months! But I've decided that of the C9s it is the chrono that I really love, so I will save my money and keep saving up for that. Probably. Unless I change my mind before midnight.

Hi gents. Well i received my harrison GMT today (once again awesome service from CW) and tried it on but it just does not feel, well substantial enough for me. The quality is sublime and its a beautiful watch but my favourite watch to wear is my speedhawk and the GMT is less than half the weight. I think i might send it back so i can go for the Harrison Chrono LE. Has anyone had a Harrison chrono yet? Its a lot more money so i do not want to make the same mistake. I can see from a previous thread its 1.6mm thicker and weighs a third more, also has the better movement and is a limited edition of 250. But i think i need an owner of one to let me know how they feel about it to make the jump. Any opinions?

I have both the C9 GMT and chrono. I suspect it is more the overall bulk of the C40 as compared to the C9's. Yes the C9 chrono is heavier but also lacks a sweep second hand. The second hand you see in the photos is for the chrono function. I just wanted to be sure you were aware of that. The C9's are also considered a dress watch so, as such, will not have the bulk of a C40. The chrono will definitely feel heavier but the only way to know if it will satisfy you is to try. Just do not expect the feel of a C40. persoally although I love them all..I would pick the chrono over the gmt.Paddyobrien wrote:Hi gents. Thanks Kip. I have just seen you collection via your photo's... Amazing!! Well done pal. I think i wont be satisfied with my GMT and the more i look at the white face chrono with the blue hands the more beautiful it gets! I know it wont have the bulk of my C40 but i thinks its worth the extra money for me. Thanks for the feedback Kip you have helped me make my mind up! I you say its better than its got to be!
