Another unhappy repair customer...

Post by redmonaco »

I really don't get that Cward can't handle a simple repair and quality check...

6 weeks ago I sent my C60 chrono (7750 movement) in for repair as it was stopping half way round the dial. Today I have received it back after paying a reasonable'ish £306 for the repair. And I was pleased to get it back quite quickly I thought. That was until I noticed the 6 sub dial hand wasn't centred (2 seconds) and then that the chronograph wasn't functioning correctly (59 seconds).

It now doesn't start, and wont reset.

So much for "Quality control". Its obvious there isn't any... :0(

That's unfortunate. Commiserations.

Damaged in transit, perhaps? :-k :-k

Or it could have been kicked around by the courier? 🤔

It would seem odd to send it out to the customer obviously broken knowing it would come back again which is clearly not cost effective for the company.

I don't think transit damage came into play. The watch itself is functioning ok. Don't think just the chrono bit would get damaged separately. And it also wouldn't affect the non centre hand on the subdial.

Just sloppy service IMO
