Still remember the time I saw your World Timer, it left a big impression on me.

I am looking forward to the new world timer coming out, probably won't make a appearance until next year.

I’ve seen it and it’s worth the wait.

Thanks Ferg, it was certainly a memorable supper. Coral and I thoroughly enjoyed both yours and Lou’s company. Here’s to the next time.

Thanks Bernie, with all my visits to No:1 I never saw these all together. IMHO they do look good.

On other watch forums, CW tend to take a cliched kicking for their logo & sales, but when you see a quartet like that, in addition to their 'in-house' movement, you realise that they've actually achieved something quite special & ambitious in a short time.

What a smashing collection Richard! Four very desirable and unusual watches that you are unlikely to see anyone else wearing outside of a CW get together.

That is a great sub set of CW's in your collection. I've admired all these watches in the past, each looks very distinctive.

It's one of the things I've always liked about CW and said in the past, there are very few if any watch companies (that I can think of at least) that have made such a breadth of different designs, styles and types of watches and done them all very well, including the more unique ones you have there.

Does the single pusher share the same movement as the C9 ME109 that Guy posted recently?

Yes it does. A modified Unitas 6497 JJ02 caliber.

Yes.

"Using the Unitas 6497 movement as a base, our master watchmaker Johannes Jahnke worked alongside Jean Fillon - an artisan with over 50 years of expertise working upon movements including the 6497 - to create a horological masterpiece. How? By deconstructing the Unitas and effectively re-designing its chronograph function with a new main plate, winding mechanism, and centre and second wheels.

This enables a continuous-seconds sub-dial and a 30-minute totaliser to be operated through a single pusher in the crown, all of which are perfectly visible through the museum-grade reverse sapphire crystal."

From CW's website.

In simplistic terms the Chrono mechanism has been brought to the top of the movement, such that it is fully visible through the exhibition case back.

Nice JJ collection.

Here are mine.

40mm MKIII with roman numerals.

Only if C9 JH MKI comes in 40mm instead of 43mm would beat it.

Also a fan of Worldtimer but never got used to this first iteration.

2nd attempt is much more useful imo.

Moonphase is fun for a few nights but 5 days PR SH21 is a great daily wearer.

Please tell me there's nothing funny going on with the second hand? It looks... grainy?

How about adding the one with the first in house movement, the C9 5 Day ?
Or are you JJ'd out for now ?

Regards Steve
I’ve got one of the very early editions of the C9 5 Day.

It’s only how the light has reflected off the second hand, all is well.

Pretty amazing collection there , the JJ series are the next ones for my collection, and i know its a personal thing but i very much prefer the older logos aswell to the newer ones, they go well with those designs.
