That must have been fun to visit the Towers and meet everyone. If I ever go to England I am visiting them in person; for sure! It's interesting to note that CW is indeed reading the forums, and they are very aware of the ongoing logo debate. I like the direction they are going, but it's interesting to ponder if some of the negatives that come from here will have any impact on them moving forward.

Hey, Kip. So you are the only Yank on the team? That's pretty cool. I've wondered for a while how you got to know them at the company and how you started helping out. Were you a customer first?

No Leather sandals
No CW gloves
No rotating logo's
No VR showrooms
No branch in Oregon
No Simon Cowell special editions

What the hell were you all doing for 2 days? Doesn't seem like you were anywhere near as productive as the forum members!

On a more serious note. It's good to hear the forum is still relevant to CW and that they are prepared to invest in its future.

This would make it much more usable when posting pics IMHO

Apologies if I’ve caused a problem, I just want to say thank you for taking the time to say hello to my wife & I.

No apologies necessary and no problem caused. My statement was more tongue in cheek. If we were trying to keep it a secret we wouldn't have popped in.

It was good to see you again and a pleasure to meet your lovely wife.

Yes I was a customer first and the only Yank on the team. Over time, a few purchases and a lot of conversations, I became friends with Chris, Wera and many others at CW. I have done contract work for CW as well as been an employee. I have also been a moderator here for over 10 years. My background is in retail, watch and clock repair. Does that help?

I am supposed to be retired. Ask a retired person how they ever found time to work.

It's not "Thread of the Year" material, but it might be the "Post of the Month". :D
