A Reference Gallery appeal
Please...can you help your fellow collectors, fans and future buyers of Christopher Ward watches, as well as contribute to CW history?
As most here are aware, we have the CWArchive (CWA) that presents a fairly complete listing of CW watches built from day one. The CWA is currently listing 382 models, of which 66 are Bespoke models, and adds up to 2447 variants.
The photos shown in the CWA are predominantly stock website shots. The standard models are linked to the Reference Gallery so people can see real world photos that we all know look better (usually) than the website photos. The Reference Gallery is very important to the CWA. This is where we need your help.
The forum Reference Gallery is listing 104 models that need photos. Models with “0” photos total 40 and models with only “1” photo totals 64. This list is also posted, as a sticky, in 3 locations within the forum.
Do you own any of these models?
Your photos are important in relaying what a CW watch truly looks like in the real world. We are asking you to review the list below, which is also posted in 3 areas of the forum, to see if you can help us reduce the size of this list.
All we ask is that the photos be of reasonable clarity and that you please add the code number to your photo. The code can be found on your original paperwork or within the CWA. If you are posting a model with a non OEM strap, you simply make the strap code XX. Frankly, if you can't determine the code, Just post and I will figure it out.
To the many that have already contributed photos, we say Thank You as it is greatly appreciated. We just need more…Please!
Here is what is currently needed.....

Re: A Reference Gallery appeal
@Kip I added a few to the Ukraine LE a year or so ago. So I think there are more than 1 entry now. I even added one with the Consort in October.

Hopefully Greg @Ttf23 who owns and runs Ward Hoard, will be able to help us out.

Re: A Reference Gallery appeal
The list of Reference Gallery photos needed is posted in 3 locations plus this appeal post. While I do update daily when an addition that is needed is added, I have neglected to update this post. That has now been corrected.
The Reference Gallery photos are meant to be real world photos by members and not stock web style photos. If Greg wishes to post some photos of the Trade Time that would be great. He may be selling, or planning to but as long as he owns them they count.

Re: A Reference Gallery appeal
All Reference Gallery photos are helpful and greatly appreciated. These photos are meant to show real life visuals for potential buyers and maintain a catalog for future reference. These photos tend to be superior to original web photos and are extremely important.

It’s a great database for the newbie Kip… really helps when you are educating yourself about the CW range and specifications.

As the Sunset LE is a Bespoke edition, this will get entered into the CWArchive once we have the details from CW.
These come through in batches, a little while after release, as opposed to regular models where the details are available to us (the Admin Team) upon release and entered accordingly.
