A question for C60 Trident 42mm Owners

Post by FourthWard »

Does this watch fit well under a dress shirt? It looks like it's very thick (and heavy!)

Thanks! :D

yes :)

I have worn mine with formal white dress shirt (studs / cufflinks / marcella cuffs / etc.) and dinner jacket...
also with smart shirts with single cuffs
also with smart shirts with double / french cuffs

as with anything - it depends on your build and the fit of the shirt

but for me has worked well

If it doesn't, it's an excellent excuse to buy another watch :)

It's not particularly thick or heavy compared with many of its contemporaries. Of my four watches its the second thinnest, but then to two thickest are fairly robust pieces! I'd be happy to where this watch anywhere.

It definitely fits under a shirt cuff, either with the bracelet or the CWL leather deployant strap.

Agree with Welshlad and as Akirk noted, it partially depends on the individual shirt. I would give a slight nod to the lather strap for making it slightly slimmer in total circumference.

I was worried about the same thing, but I've been very pleased with how my C60 wears under a dress shirt (buttons and cuff links). I posted a picture 5 or 6 weeks ago in the General Discussion of me wearing the watch and a dress shirt (which I would repost if I knew how!).

I've managed it. A lot depends on the size of your wrist and the style of shirt you're wearing it with. If your cuffs are quite tight to the skin I wouldn't wear it; but with a loose fitting good quality cuff it's fine. If you're used to wearing thinner watches for formal wear then the C60 might feel a little bulky when first on, but once you get used to it then it's no problem.

Thank you so much guys! And wow, that khaki bezel looks a ton better in that photo than it does on its page.

Glad to find a friendly watch forum, too.

Sorry for the double post - I had another related question. How is the weight of this watch on the bracelet? It looks like it is a very heavy watch for someone that typically uses a leather strap.

I don't often wear long sleeved shirts but on the one occasion I have I had no problems with it fitting nicely under the cuff
