People aren't stupid. I was aware of the connection with Technics and Panasonic until the former name was dropped in the early 2000s. I know that Lexus are linked with Toyota and Tudor with Rolex. I own a Toyota, have a Technics sound system and a Panasonic camera. I love my Rolex Submariner and would happily buy a Black Bay.

My CW Aviator Mark II gives me great delight and I would buy a highend CW if I liked it and thought it VFM. It's the product that counts and if it appeals it will be bought.

CW are building up their reputation and should be proud enough in that name to sell under their banner.

Ever the voice of reason Scooter  . I can't think of a better way to sum it up.... other than add "each to their own" which I take as the essence of your thoughts  .
I also cant think of a better way to put it ,so I aint going to try .very well put scooter!
