FWIW, I thought about possible skin irritation with the bronze as I have sensitivity, but I took the chance anyway, and I have not had any reaction to it. This watch has a stainless/clear caseback and for the price and return policy, I took a chance on it and it worked out.nycWATCHnerd wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2025 10:42 pm I love Bronze watches but do not have the patience to keep them all shiny and new. I heard the cleaning routine to "restore" them is easy but can be time consuming. I may also have issues with bronze on skin even with the stainless caseback. Allergies and allergic reactions run strong in my family (not something I am proud of or happy about) so it may not be worth the risk.![]()
As far as patina, I am good with it doing its thing. Like an old brass golf putter, it adds character and gives a vintage look to it.
Have fun with the new Explorer II Polar!
