It looks like this:-

Why CW? Why only 40mm? All my straps are 22mm and I really want the blue dial. I’m a sucker for steel bezels.

I really like both of these dial colors and the raised numeral bezel making it hard to make a decision between the two colors. Based on some recent history of CW releasing new dial colors shortly after an initial release, i.e. Bel Canto, I think I'll wait a week or two and see if more dial colors are released before deciding whether to purchase one.

Well, having slept on it (after buying the watch!) I’m happy and looking forward to seeing it. I have been looking at the 300 since it came out and occasionally take another look to see which colour I would choose if I actually got one - the usual daydreaming. I have also been pondering the Oris divers Social Club edition but something had me holding back from that one too.
I wasn’t sure that a bright white homogeneous dial was really what I was after. The sealander was sold on for this reason.

So - in pretty much one glance, the SS bezel and the fume dial just looked so interesting to my brain. A lot of things fell into place. Another feature that distinguishes it from the regular 300 - no pops of colour! I really love this about this new release. I clicked through immediately.

An impulsive purchase?? :-k

It spoke to you and you listened.
I think it is a terrific watch. If only I didn't already have 4 divers....and it's enough.

I think so. I just ordered the black rubber strap for my silver 12, and it looks very similar. (however, obviously not an integrated bracelet connection.). It feels and wears great. Just wish they made a deployment clasp version.

I was did the impulse purchase thing just now. I think I’m going to sell my old logo CWs because I bought four new CW’s in the past two months.Image

That’s my way of doing watchie happiness - do the impulse thing first then sell watches later to catch up. An always-onwards-into-new-uncharted-waters kind of approach

I’m happy with my OG Atoll which at £615 on a bracelet in February this year is looking to me like the bargain of the year. £915 now for a lower spec watch, albeit a newer model, is some serious inflation.

Nevertheless, the introduction of the relief bezel is encouraging; they now just need to release a bronze version and I’d be interested.

Wow…very quick! Congrats. I ordered mine yesterday (white on bracelet) but has not been dispatched. I also ordered the black strap which says in stock so hopefully that won’t slow it down. I’m not a fan of how they don’t ship part of the order if the whole order is not ready. I usually do separate orders when I also order a strap

Maybe they were resting the concept with the original Atoll, and then the Sunrise.

The atoll and the sunrise were both really attractive watches, I thought.

I was surprised this release happened without a preview. It doesn't seem to be a limited issue. I imagine a graduated dial in an orange to red palette (ie similar to the sunrise) would look attractive. :D

Based on previous releases that color dial will probably be released in a few days, which is why I'm taking a breath before ordering to see what other colors are released shortly :D

The C60 Atoll doesn't seem to be a major release and CW do have a history of "sneaking" smaller releases out without previews. There was a preview for the C60 Concept, C63 Sealander line (I think), the Aquitaine, the Bel Canto and "the Twelve". My guess is that two new dials and a new bezel don't quite make the grade for a round of press interviews and the two previews that they do. As an aside the C60 Atoll watches haven't even made it on to sites like ablogtowatch, Worn and Wound and Fratello who normally are very good about covering CW launches. Maybe tomorrow.
