^^^^ The bezel looks like it will be the same as this 42mm C60 Trident with steel bezel prototype I owned for a while last year.

Thanks Guy, that prototype/bezel looks great.

If it is indeed a 300 as has been suggested, it will suit me down to the ground.

I have a 300 on bracelet so hopefully could pick up a new one on hybrid and have option to swap over. Could save me a few pennies!

I was thinking it looks titanium like the Omega Nekton, also it appears to have raised indexes every 5 mins.

Looking forward to the reveal, but I dont think it will make it on my wish list, as I never truly bonded with Nekton.

Gosh it would be nice if they get a bit adventurous with a couple of the dial colours on this one. Summery yellow, orange, red, bright blue?
The existing 300 is a bit conservative.

The bezel looks excellent. A predictable comment as I am a fan of the BP FF Trilogy; a watch that I regret not buying, at a reasonable price, when I had the chance about 8-10 years ago.

A rather conservative black, dark blue, dark green, or brown would tick the boxes for me, in a 40mm case.

I was assuming that ‘tropical’ meant lovely brown colour that black vintage dials used to patinate to. I guess I have to wait a few more hours to see if instead we’re talking tropical island colours. I think I’m a bit coloured out this year and a vintage tropical brown would be nice to see

The stand-out feature of the Pro 300 bezel is its "two-partness" with the numbers rotating on an outer track with the fixed inner part carrying the index marks: would it be a Pro 300 if it didn't have the two-part bezel?

Look I'm busy taking up cork floor tiles CW, can't you delay the launch until, oh tomorrow? hahaha

@tikkathree The teaser seems to show it still has the 2-part bezel of the TP300. And I am very excited to see the full reveal even though my watch fund is depleted!

Yeah - since when has a depleted watch fund held any of us back? It makes me incredibly resourceful... And frugal to the point of austerity in every other aspect of my life

Ah, I have totally bonded with the Nekton you sold me last year… it’s one of my top three watches and I wear it a lot :D

For this reason, even though this release looks like it will be a looker, I can’t see it replacing my Nekton 8)

@tikkathree & @missF I might have to take the day away from the forum if you two don't stop

It does seem like when the want hits really hard, the funds have a way of working themselves out... must divert attention away from watches...

It's 20 minutes to 3pm BST and it looks like it's half live? I refreshed and saw the new release, refreshed again and it's gone.

And I've got to say WOW on the blue colorway. Can I resist?

The two part bezel is the one aspect of the 300 I don't like. It looks great but it stops there. They should either make the bezel 60 clicks so that the pip marker hits all of the minute markings and not between or engineer the bezel as one piece so that the minute markings track with the timing bezel. The pip marking should never land between the minute marks which it does with a 120 click bezel. It is a small detail I admit, but illustrates CWs penchant for form over function and a lack of clarity in the small details. A timing bezel is after all to time stuff. If the design makes that function harder it is bad design. I also freely admit that I am in the minority here as I actually use mine to time stuff frequently.

That said I am curious to see what they have to show
