Looked great but not the game changer I was expecting. Evolution more than revolution.

Re: A new sports watch preview
Ok, we're skirting a bit near the edge regarding comments on the watch now. Please refrain from any more commentary until it is launched on the CW website. Thanks.

Re: A new sports watch preview
How its gone in the past....
Leaked on Reddit a day after the preview - Forum members banned from commenting
Leaked on Facebook two days later, then deleted at request of CW - Forum members banned from commenting
Five days later Youtube influencer releases review before embargo lifted - Forum members banned from commenting
CW accidentally posts on Instagram or on their website the day before release then deletes an hour later - Forum members banned from commenting
CW officially releases the watch on Instagram, Facebook, and their website - The whole worlds already seen the watch, but finally forum members can comment
These previews are always the worst kept secret, but at least we try to play along

Re: A new sports watch preview
I wasn't able to watch the preview, but I did reach out to Declan to be put on the list. Do you know how the reservation process will work? We will get early access to a product page like the Twelve X? Thank you.Kip wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2024 5:22 pm For those that attended the Sports Watch Preview and wish to contact CW to make a reservation.....

Re: A new sports watch preview
I'm extremely grateful for having had the opportunity to attend my first of such previews today. It's a credit to CW as a company to allow enthusiasts opportunities like this, but also a huge credit to the forum and its administrators for developing an environment of trust and 'good behavior' in which CW can put faith. So thank you everyone.
P.S., I did not dare mention it on the chat functionality (and barely dare mention it now), but I did notice the Azzuro(?) Bel Canto that MF was wearing on his wrist was running about 30 seconds slow of time when it chimed midway through the call!

Re: A new sports watch preview
Can you tell those who didn't watch the presentation when the release is projected to happen? No problem if you can't divulge that snippet. It would be nice to be available for the release though, just in case.

Re: A new sports watch preview
I could, but I won't, as it is all part of the embargoed information.
However, although past performance is no guarantee of future results, if CW sticks to their recent launch process we should see teasers on Social Media in the coming days.
NB> For the avoidance of doubt, those who were able to see the preview agreed to the following undertaking;-
You must not discuss or show elements of the presentation on the forum (via pm or public post) or ANY OTHER internet platform until AFTER the product(s) have appeared on the CW website. This also applies to any information you might see on any other website or social media platform.
'nuff said?

Re: A new sports watch preview
Might the delay in the Chime of Mike France's Bel Canto have been the result of lag / speed of broadband and/or WiFi etc. in the transmission of the preview over the Internet?timepieces_and_bags wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2024 9:25 pm . . . . . . . .

Re: A new sports watch preview
Welcome. Indeed you do. However, there’s no need to hurry: the preview was yesterday and there’s unlikely to be another for some time.
However, you can use one of your five to visit the Member Introduction section and tell us about yourself (and your watches).

Re: A new sports watch preview
My first thoughts were along the lines of the way TV programmes are delayed when streamed through internet channels: I don't claim to know what I'm talking about but I have a peripheral awareness of "something"Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2024 11:02 pmMight the delay in the Chime of Mike France's Bel Canto have been the result of lag / speed of broadband and/or WiFi etc. in the transmission of the preview over the Internet?timepieces_and_bags wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2024 9:25 pm . . . . . . . .

I confess I didn't pick up the BC chime either because it was early in the broadcast (is that the right term?) and my laptop was still having a dance with vimeo and I missed some early aspects.
