I don't understand why the stocks (inventory) are so high. The cost of sales is 17m, and the stocks are 12m. I appreciate the stocks will include the work in progress on many BCs in particular. Deposits on BCs and other watches will also be a contributory factor in high cash/bank balances, and the deposits will be shown as trade creditors if not disclosed separately. (It's most likely deferred income in note 19).
From page 4
Sales have basically doubled.
They are spending a great deal on Capital Investments.
They have lots of cash on hand, though less than last year, due to planned increasing stock levels for fulfillment of future sales growth.
Great set of financials for CW and very pleased to see them do well, certainly deserved with some of the great watches released recently.
For me it was the speed of the accounts being published. I review quite a few companies financials as part of my job and very few have them released so soon after the year end, normally a sign of great results that you want to get out there (enhances company reputation and also financial/credit status with insurers/banks/credit referencing agencies etc).

Although an earlier post said that the previous year's financials hadn't been released yet
But, let's celebrate a good year for the brand and their busy July.
Mark
Bremont, Casio, Citizen, Christopher Ward, Chronotechna, Formex, Mido, Omega and Oris
The financial perspective looks really good but are the results representative of a growth of sales volumes?
Are CW selling fewer watches but at higher prices and therefore higher margins or just more watches or maybe a combination of both?
The success of the BC and the Twelve and their multiple variants have proven to be fruitfull but the delays to Trident Mk4 and SH21 V2 have created frustrations to some of us.
The higher profile Marketing via various sporting links has definately increased the company profile. If I now get asked about my watch rather than the "who are they?" commments it's more likely "Oh, yeah, I heard of them" nowadays.
I look forward to the next releases in the ever expanding range, with a focus on the delayed products.

Just a few observations :

Well a large number of expensive BCs and maybe Halos and Moonglows etc, will increase sales without necessarily increasing the volume, which must be a good thing in general.

Profit aside I reckon perhaps the most significant event for the company (and statement of long term intent) during the past year occurred on 13 December 2023.
When the first FLE 2023 watches were finally dispatched? I quite agree.
Well whilst important for us that wasn’t the event.
I reckon that the appointment of a key employee as a director was far more significant. A position which IIRC was never achieved by one of the original three men in a boat.

As stated elsewhere in recent months Trident Mk4 isn't going to happen. At least not in a Pro 600 guise. There will instead be expansion to the Trident Pro 300 (Trident "Mark 3.1") range.
SH21 v2 will, hopefully, be along sometime.

I recognised the disposal of the 600m depth range but I didn't percieve it to result in the demise of Trident Mk4 case design.
The sort of demarcation between old ranges has become blurred these days. C60's now look like C65's but these new Tridents also look like Dress watches too. I'm definitely getting, and feeling old now !!
I'll have my nephews and great nephews after my 'fashionable' CWs next so my Loupe magazines will have to be hidden when they visit !!
I'll just wait for a new CW model/range that interests me. Especially, since my last three additions have been bespoke rather than general range purchases.

I just think the C60 600m range is relatively thick compared with the C65, and the pro 300 design, which gives an adequate level of water resistance. Therefore I don't think 600m depth watches would sell in enough numbers to warrant continued development. They aren't terribly thick, but at full price there's lots of competition.
