A CW for every occasion?

Post by Molan »

Well - most occasions anyway :)

So I've bought a few watches this year and getting close to being happy with my little collection:

C7 Bluebird - love the colour of this and tend to wear it for more 'special' days. Often gets nice comments from people.

C5 Slimline - another blue face and only really worn with smart shirts or when I fancy a change.

C7 Rapide MK I - my everyday 'beater'. Changing the bracelet to the same strap as my Bluebird transformed this watch for me and I wear it a lot now

C1000 Typhoon Cockpit - couldn't resist this in a recent sale and currently my most worn watch. Really like the khaki strap, looks great for an everyday watch with t-shirt & jeans

C9 5 Day Auto - probably my all round favourite. I can just sit and watch the second hand moving for hours. Works for almost any occasion.

C60 Trdent Pro Titanium V2 - had to have at least one Trident in the collection and I like the light weight & 'stealth' look of this. Classy and functional but perfect to take on holidays. New rubber strap on the way (it's currently on a temp strap that's too small!)

I keep telling myself this lot out to keep me happy and I don't need anything else but maybe I'm missing something, lol

Agreed; a CWL watch for each occasion - Dress, Motorsport, Aviator and Diver.

Box ticked, job done.

In the meantime a great balance of sizes, types, styles and colours as well.

Top notch.

A job well done. Now you can work on adding variety to each category. :)

There's a couple of 38mm C60 300's in nice colours and also two C3's that come out now and again. Also a C4 but that's a bit too bulky for me. These five will probably go to fund something else. That way I can have six in the box and one on my wrist

Maybe something a bit more vintage looking. . .

Cracking collection of CW watches. Do you have a preference for more darker colours though as there's only the one white in there?
CW C9 SH21 | C60 Apex SH21 | C65 SH21
Ernst Benz Chronoscope DLC
Oris WilliamsF1 Day Date 2004
Phoibos Leviathan DLC
Seiko 5 Sports Orange "Baby" Monster
Tag Aquaracer | F1 Panda

Too many watches, not enough time :(

Good point - actually I really like white and cream faces. My first CW was white face with brown strap and the C9 is my all round favourite.
