30 posts before you can view sales corner?

Post by Pip »

I agree with all the views expressed above - this is a forum with a small sales section, not the other way round - join in and meet us all!

However. While the OP's post was neither diplomatic or particularly pleasant for a first post, I do kinda agree with him, I find it daft as well. It creates a 2 tier system, which I don't like. In my view, you register as a member you should be able to access the lot.

The more I look at this, and the OP, the more a thought occurs to me...

Anyone remember Tri-Tech Diver Elite, aka The Laird?

Fair enough. Just such an unusual 1st post.

I thought it was a good first post. Strong silent type. To the point.

I think that a lot of people on here think that the 30 post rule is silly, me for one. But as a first post, it was suicidal.

Well he certainly has not come back for a second post.

I was not in favour of the rule but understand why it was done. In another post Downer made a good case for getting rid of it. Perhaps the rule should be revisited?

Welcome Ricky.
I've never really had any strong opinion about that rule but now I'm glad it's there.

Think I have said before... rule only makes sense for listing watches... as a seller I could care less who buyer is.. I will have their money before I ship... I would sell it to a goat if he had a paypal account.
