2024 expectations

Post by user1111 »

Hi Everyone,
With 2024 around the corner what are you expecting from CW? What would you like to see? Personally, I'm looking to purchase a new diver so hope we see an update to the C60/C65 families!

The shaped markers on the "Twelve" used on other models or applied and lumed 3, 6, 9 markers on a Sealander to save me a few £thousand that would be spent on an Explorer.

The only CW that I can realistically see myself buying next year is a 40mm Twelve concept model.

I’ll keep what I’m expecting to myself. What I would like to see is a stylish, slim and elegant rectangular or tonneau hand winder. But I’m not necessarily expecting one any time soon.

Otherwise it could be a quiet year for me watch wise. I’d prefer a couple of bucket list trips.

As a successor to the Bel Canto I’d like to see a similarly engineered wandering hour implementation.

Although I don’t realistically expect CW to do something as ambitious in the near future. So it’ll probably be mostly derivatives of the existing ranges…

No doubt someone will start a new thread on this soon! Last year the sale went live on Thursday 5th January.

I don't know about anyone else, but I will be watching my email for the preview on January 3rd.

I also think if I was not signed up for the CW Newsletters/Special offers, I would do that on their homepage at the bottom.

What I would “hope for” & what I “expect” are two different things. I would hope for a slimmer chronograph in possibly a reverse panda style or both using the new version of the SH21 movement. I would hope for a limited edition release of a C9 Small Seconds using the newest version of the SH21 movement! I would hope but I am not that hopeful of it happening. I do expect that there will be new color ways of the Twelve released in 2024. I would be hopeful of a deep shade of green being among them. I would expect another version or two of the Sealander being released.

Would love to see a 40mm or 38mm version of the C60 Pro 300 Bronze. That would be an immediate buy from me!
