The SH21 already handles the longer power reserve problem. They just need to figure out the supply chain of that so they can make more (and sell a catalog model, not only LEs, with it).
The problems with getting the movement sorted to be able to ship the entire limited run of the Blue Marine and Snow Leopard were not confidence inducing.

Re: 2024 expectations
Between the Bel Canto, new Moonphase, and the SH21s 2023 has to stressed their in-house movement capacity. I can see the company leaning in either direction, investing in movement manufacture capability or leaning into Sellita bases (more or less) exclusively. 2023 saw a huge increase in brand awareness, so they’re going to have to adapt one way or the other.MistaFroggyG wrote:The SH21 already handles the longer power reserve problem. Re: 2024 expectations
Now that the Twelve X has been revealed and opened for pre-orders, what do we think is next for CW in 2024? I seem to remember an interview with Mike France saying something special is coming in the summer but don’t recall much more than that.

Re: 2024 expectations
I was thinking something similar, but add an SW300 in the mix, solid case back and toolify the watch with matt finishes. Basically, do a “Pelagos” on the 600 range. Probably stick to 40mm minimum case size. These changes would differentiate the two dive series watches.Rezn8r wrote: ↑Sun Jan 07, 2024 11:58 pm I’d also love to see the Mk IV as a slightly beefier, 600m, matte bezel watch that takes some of the styling cues that I think have made the 300 Pro so successful (fixed inner bezel, logo, date placement). Perhaps add the new applied twin logo to differentiate it further from the 300, too.
The current C60 #tide is nearly there, and I almost bought one in preference to my blue 300 Pro. Do it in black with a matte dial and bezel and take my money…
All this goes for the titanium Elite, too, though it seems to be regularly wait-listed, so the refresh doesn’t seem as urgent. The 600s have been left hanging through two clearance cycles now.

Indeed I recall the same. Given the Sealander has had a platform update (new 36mm) and the Twelve as you have mentioned it must be the diver platform next..

Re: 2024 expectations
I’m sure I read something about an Ultimate C60… I was saving up for that, but spotted the c60 MkIII trident pro bronze (blue dial) on eBay last week (and couldn’t say no!)… so I’m hoping it’s not gonna drop for a few more months yet (need time to save up!!)

Re: 2024 expectations
I don't think this is going to happen especially since the Elite didn't even get a new dial. I argue as well that there is room for an ultra toolish offering but they don't seem to sell fast enough (The C60 Ombrés were in the store for more than a year and a few ended up going at ridiculously low prices in a Jan sale). The Ombré was pretty close to what I would want. Matte dial and bezel. Fully graduated on the bezel (not like the 300 where the minute track is fixed). 600m or better. COSC movement (mine runs at about +0.8 sec on wrist). It comes in at right around 14mm which isn't too bad - manual says 13.4 but I think that is without the crystal(42mm diameter).MarkingTime wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2024 10:41 pmI was thinking something similar, but add an SW300 in the mix, solid case back and toolify the watch with matt finishes. A few updates and it would be darn near perfect for me. Titanium maybe but not a must. SW300 COSC (shave another mm off of the height). Drilled lugs would be a plus. Some sort of hardness coating. Up to date dial - the 9 o'clock branding drove people nuts, although I never minded it too much. With the Ombré it kind of disappears anyway.
I think the Towers have their sights set on growth right now (hiring Mike Pearson and opening a US showroom) which means they are looking to move watches. The C60 Pro 300 moves units so that is what they are going to make. They have to be careful though because you can create a situation that fools the numbers. Take the Elite. You can tell yourself it doesn't sell but then you haven't updated it since its release in Jan 2020.
There is definitely more coming this year so it will be interesting to see what materializes. For sure there is going to be the ultimate C60 Pro 300 that was teased in the Loupe.

I am really looking forward to it! I guess this will happen at some point in September?
