Only you can answer that question really. I was involved with it too. However, I wasn’t wearing mine and it had no particular emotional attachment for me so I sold it. Fortunately, I know it went to a very good home indeed.

We all can be guilty of being ‘watch hoarders’. If it is not worn, then really it should go to someone who will. You have enjoyed it the past but the collection moves on and your tastes change. The hardest part is making the decision to either wear it or move it on. Once you have done that the rest is easy.
I think I feel the same way about the recent purchase of my C5Malvern Revival. I am not wearing it much at all. However, I did have it on for a wedding recently and was actually a bit blown away when I saw it for the first time under the cuff of a proper suit and white shirt. If it only comes out a couple times a year for those special occasions, so be it. Maybe there is room in your watch box for something similar.

If you still think it's a lovely watch I'd keep it.......with only 75 in existence you'll struggle to find another if you regret selling! I think they look great personally, especially the blue second hand, and if it were me I'd keep it for more dressy occasions.
As a watch doesn't take much space up I assume that isn't the issue so it comes down to this: which do you want more, the money or the watch? And if you sell, will what you spend the money on bring you more pleasure than the watch does?

Why are you clearing the decks and have you asked yourself why it feels good? I was strapped for cash some years ago and after a hard look at my collection, I sold several, including one CWFLE that I was involved in, and a key part of the decision was reminding myself they are just possessions.

That’s some sound advice. Cuts straight to the crux of it all, doesn’t it.
Time and money? I’ve spent most of mine on booze and women. The rest I just wasted…

Indeed it did, Steve, and remains in good hands; cherished and admired albeit not worn that often.

We need a picture really, Peter.
I'll oblige on the photographic front . . .

Switched for Sunday evening, as its Easter I felt one of my few dress watches is the order of the day.
I always did like the Slimline range. However, the commercial decision was obviously taken to end it. I do feel that it has slightly left a hole in the CW line up. With the new 36mm sea lander due on stream in September maybe it will be filled.
Great pictures of FLE. If it were mine I would keep it.
