2012 FLE
We need to start thinking about the new FLE soon. It's a bad job leaving it too late so lets have some ideas.
How about a pocket watch on a chain?

That would be interesting.Yoda wrote:How about a pocket watch on a chain?
I was browsing for rectangular art-deco watches a while back - something like that would be nice.

Re: 2012 FLE
Let's face it you can dream all you want about what type of watch it should be but at the end of the day it will most probably be based on a current design and you will only be able to change the colour.
I miss all the great things that may never be.

C5 Automatic or Manual

and C8 Vintage

also with the same crystal/ coating as the C11.
Think Douglas Bader meets the SR71 Blackbird.

Re: 2012 FLE
I'd love to see a C3 Malvern Chrono Automatic. Throw the 7750 calibre in and maybe do a slate/grey dial. SS hands and roman numerals (same as standard C3).
The C3 has a great 40mm size and it perfectly walks the line between dress and sport watch. I just wish it could be mechanical...

I'd also like to see a mechanical C1 or C3..... or BOTH! I missed out on these early models as many others probably did too....I'm sure they could be made more "individual" for the forum and should be quick and easy to produce at the right price...

Re: 2012 FLE
anything but quartz! And Im liking the more 'simple' cases such as the c5......
Id like to see a take on the c11 auto; it has become a popular watch and a cw forum take would be intersting

Re: 2012 FLE
No offence but there are women on this forum,I would like to see a mid sized auto FLE instead of us having to buy a 42mm FLE "I dont mind wearing 42mm oversized pieces" but at least give us the chance to purchase a FLE in mid size 38mm or there about's.

Unisex sizes is a good way to go; from photos posted in the galleries, the C5 & Aviator look fabulous on the ladies!

Re: 2012 FLE
An auto version of the C3 would be interesting, or maybe some other kind of dress watch, as we havn't really had a dress watch as an FLE yet have we??
