Having just bagged a C5 aviator in the NN sale and having lived with it a few days and loving it i think the C5/50 is definately the way to go... And could be quite striking given the right dial...photoshop anyone...!?

Sounds attractive. I'd vote for this and probably buy one!

As the movement & case would already be sorted, the major issue is getting the dial to look right, so perhaps something like this could form a design competition similar to the most recent FLE process.

Are we talking about a 1 or 3 handed ? 24 hour 1 rotation C5/C50

I'd prefer 3 handed.

3 handed would be my ideal, the C5 hands are slim enough to not clutter the dial which would necessarily have more markings. 1 handed is a bit too vague & quirky for me.

Like that Longines but haven't they nicked the CW C60 'onion'

Sure, I'd go for that.

+1 Up for that (ideally with a 9 o'clock crown and a BRG face)!!!!!!

If this went ahead, I'd prefer the C50 case or bigger. 24h might be too much on a small-ish dial. Definitely prefer 3 hands.

I would rather the single hand, uncluttered dial as an FLE, whereas the 3 hand possibly into the main lineup in future. And no bigger than a 39mm.

Have we even found out yet if this '12 FLE is going to be supported by CW? If so any restrictions and such that might be put upon such a thing? What is the ceiling for end-price to the forum members? I've heard talk about not wanting the cost to be above a certain point but no idea what that might be?

Also, it seems like it might be worth doing some '12 FLE polls at some point instead of the constant back and forth. Case size, number of hands etc

I like the idea of the single hand. The single hand in the photo looks really cool, the Longines just looks cluttered.
