20 Best Small Watches Under 38mm...

Post by cl11 »

C60 Trident Pro made it to this list:

hiconsumption.com/2018/06/best-mens-small-watches-under-38-mm

but did not make it to the 10 best small watches in another list

https://gearpatrol.com/2018/04/11/best- ... s-for-men/

just some food for thought...

Nice to see some lists of not only small watches, but watches across all budgets as well. I own two of them (The C60 and the Hamilton Khaki Field), and have looked at that Citizen a number of times. They chose the wrong Timex though. It should have been the Marlin on the list.

Thanks for the link

Interesting to me this as i had a "smaller watch " phase around 4-5 years back but have in fact come full circle back to 40- 42mm and even 44mm (depending on actual wear size)
To my eyes the Breitling ,IWC and Oris all look as though the face/body design has had to kind of adapt to fit the slimmed down version .....and i defo wouldnt purchase any of these in the smaller size range
I guess my mind has been cultured to see these kind of watches/models in their original hefty formats

Funny old thing is this watch lark

Interesting that the narrative is about the 38mm but the photo of the 600 is the 43mm...

Some classic watches there, and hard to disagree with most of them. (Shinola.......)

Shame about the "smaller cases are only worn by Bondian, aesthetic, confident heroes" bollox that was written by a sanctimonious cock womble.

I really like the Orient Star as a smaller watch, comes as a 38. Difficult to find in the UK so I bought one off an American website called Long Island Watches. Got caught with import duty, but there are such great value for what you get that I would say it was worth it.

I think the Timex Marlin is underappreicated. The older ones, not the reissue. I think they might be 36mm. There is a lady on EBay who buys the old ones and reconditions them so they look new. She sells them for around £60. Slinky Mindy I think is her EBay name.
