Do you think the 30% will happen? In January?

Not across the site, no. 30% is usually for ‘nearly new’ watches or some end of line ones. 15% on current straps is not bad. Again though, end of line straps can appear in sales.
Trying not to buy any more watches...

Excellent! Nearly new sounds great. Bought a nearly new Trident GMT in 2015 that was nearly new. Superb watch. Sadly I sold it last year, so looks like January is the time to dive back in!

I've just been looking and the credit option is via PayPal not Klarna now. That's a recent change and actually a bit off putting for me. Not sure why but using PayPal for credit is not something I'd do.

Klana has been removed... No purchase from me then.
Wonder if with the discount and the fee they pay Klana its not viable for them.

Why not?

0% is still available over 6 or 12 months.

I was just thinking the same!
Am I missing something?
So long as the payment options are still there, is there a problem...?

Agree, for some reason I've used Klarna elsewhere on a couple of occasions and it was simple and efficient and I would use them again if it was convenient. I've not used PayPal credit and it doesn't appeal for some reason - not just with CW, but anywhere. I have several PayPal accounts so I'm not anti PayPal, but wouldn't consider using them as a lender.

Speaking of lenders, taken from the CW finance page.

I don't like the thought of PayPal finance either. It says something about 4 months interest free but I'm not clear what happens after that.

There appears to be no deposit though so it's just the same monthly payment which makes it easier.

But I'm not going to be buying using Paypal finance.

PayPal offer their own finance arrangement, similar to a purchase credit card whereby you open an account and get a credit limit.

With the PayPal setup, you get 4 months 0% on every purchase, subject to a minimum spend I believe.

But unlike your credit card where the rate expires, this is ongoing.

You can use PayPal's own offer above on any website that accepts PayPal by selecting PayPal credit rather than your payment card when checking out via Paypal.

Then, with some sellers such as CW, they provide the option of spreading the purchase over 6-12months using the same method.

Unless stated like on the CW website, you would only get the normal 4 months 0%.

Hope that's reasonably clear and I haven't babbled on too much.

Thanks, that's very useful. Rich.
