Re: 15% of everything this weekend
grejyedi is right there are some people on this forum who meet these criteia, err grejyedi and perhaps only a couple of others! I have bought six watches from CWL never had any problems. Been delighted with everyone and never had to send anything back. None of them arrived next day, didn't expect them to. Don't expect next day service unless I've payed for special delivery. When deadlines have been late I usually get an email telling me. This happened with my C8 and was offered the option of cancelling. Why would I? If a things worth having it is worth waiting for. Can't really understand people who need instant gratification. If you buy on line and rely on the post just accept that stuff happens! If you must have instant gratification go elsewhere, buy it at a shop and get it immediately. Oh, must get suicidal if it's out of stock!

15% of everything this weekend
Had a problem with an order, emailed Wera, got a quick response saying sorry and outlining problem (Swiss end) and giving me options to resolve. Simples!Galton321 wrote:grejyedi is right there are some people on this forum who meet these criteia, err grejyedi and perhaps only a couple of others! Couldn't agree more with this. Bought one last wednesday, had excellent communications including a message to say it was posted Friday & should arrive Monday morning. Arrived on time despite the weather (some people haven't had post now for over a week so they are the ones suffering hardship). Ordered another one yesterday with standard mail - currently processing & it will arrive when it arrives. If it takes a week or two, so what? Not as though I won't be able to tell the time until it arrives!Galton321 wrote:grejyedi is right there are some people on this forum who meet these criteia, err grejyedi and perhaps only a couple of others! Re: 15% of everything this weekend
In a cafe once I ordered tea and toast, the toast was fine but when the cup of tea was presented to me it was absolutely boiling, far to hot to drink straight-away, so I kicked off big time, the girl looked at me as if I was stupid and told me to WAIT!!!
I did, and 10 minutes later the tea was lovely.

Silly gas fitter had probably done the pipes wrong.lamppo_the_GasFitter wrote:In a cafe once I ordered tea and toast, the toast was fine but when the cup of tea was presented to me it was absolutely boiling, far to hot to drink straight-away, so I kicked off big time, the girl looked at me as if I was stupid and told me to WAIT!!!

Seriously, though, I don't see these apologists anywhere. Even the most loyal of us criticise the mistakes CWL make and many have had (at least) one annoying experience (mine was with my eighth purchase from the company, but it was all fine in the end!), but overall it's a great company with a very good record of service - the occasional complaint on here representing a small fraction of the annual business done. Even Kip, the ambassador, acknowledges and apologies when there is a (perceived) fault.
With all of this in mind, it is quite annoyingly tedious to read your silly posts, greyjedi. Perhaps I will use you as an opportunity to double my ignore list, which is currently populated solely by someone else (See what I did there? Heh.).

Be honest, is it me?Mortis wrote: Perhaps I will use you as an opportunity to double my ignore list, which is currently populated solely by someone else (See what I did there? Heh.).
I don't fit any of the criteria on Grejyedi's list either can I come off your ignore list now?
Re: 15% of everything this weekend
Just rang CW as I had a computer problem. Spoke to Tom Evans and I got the 15% discount.

Of course not - your posts have been constructive, amusing and telling us about your watches in varying degrees. Why would I ignore you?!trentski wrote:Be honest, is it me?Mortis wrote: Perhaps I will use you as an opportunity to double my ignore list, which is currently populated solely by someone else (See what I did there?
