That's it. That's all.

Yes - dramatic effect
I think they're very different watches and while I love the class of the aventurine (it's a beautiful beautiful moonphase), I love my more 'functional' Moonglow. I did say that the Moonglow doesn't tick 'all' the boxes for me (a day function would be the seal on the deal). But - my ultimate moonphase watch wouldn't be a kind of mash up of features from both - they stand in their own in their different styles. But - there are two detail things I would like to change about the Moonglow as it stands. One is that I'd get rid of the red tip on the seconds hand - I think it's such a bold striking design that it could absolutely handle being completely monochrome for maximum effect. And the other is that I think it could do with a slightly different 12 index (or maybe even 12,3,6 and 9). Because the rising and setting moons are always aligned out of any vertical or horizontal line, and because the 12 index is only set against the 31 of the date ring, and because the hour and minute hands are always wherever they are too, it takes me an added fraction of a second to orientate myself when I look at the watch. I think that bolder indices to orientate the dial while all the features are whirling round in various circles would help a lot. It's a first world problem. This is my favourite moonphase ever. Erm, I'm keeping my eyes open for future moonphase developments from CW or others
