I had over half my life (the percentage changes daily!) in the normal world of ONE WATCH: @missF I celebrate that you have found a state of bliss: I'm afraid that I can't do it. Change is undoubtedly happening and I'm quitely and happily reducing the number of Omegas and will probably halve the Brellum collection but I mentally I can no more do one watch than I can compose poetry whilst free climbing a mountain.

Made me smile :D
Thing is, I 'tried' to take the path of one watch for a long time, or at least I gave great thought to the problem. What would the features of a One Watch 'have' to be? This was mostly in tandem with my need to just try lots of watches so at least I would know what I was talking about :lol:
The difference now is that this watch found me. I didn't buy because I thought it would be a One Watch - I bought it then realised that I don't want to wear Another One.

Still - as someone wise said - first the enlightenment and then the washing up. Oh - but I can't do the washing up wearing this watch..... is there such a thing out there as a watch you can get wet without breaking the movement??? :lol: :D

Lumière on a NATO strap so you can wear it outside the marigolds.

I do like the Moonphase and clearly you do as well. I hope you continue to feel the same and it really does become your one watch.

However, I seem to remember similar emotions about your Aqua Terra. What is going to happen with that?

Oh, I'm not sure....
The aqua terra was the answer to the question 'what is the best white dial bracelet watch in the world?' It took nearly ten years and 16 white dial watches to get there. But I got there! What I didn't realise at that point was that the moonphase complication, and the date ring, could be so satisfying and allow me to feel completely different about time - more oriented in time at a very deep level. Who knew that a watch could actually do that??! So the Moonglow answered a question that I didn't even quite realise I was asking.

The AT is still the best white dial bracelet watch in the world, and it's still in the box. All I can say (keeping it real) is that I put it on a week back, and it was lovely as usual, but I was back to the Moonglow in less than a whole day :)

I notice that CW state that 30m WR is good for washing the car with. Doesn't mention whether that's wearing marigolds or not.

There's definitely over the years been a small cohort of flippy people with similar sized wrists who I've greatly benefited from :lol:
I'm almost done selling down the small collection I had. Do you want to buy an anonimo?? :wink:

@missF

Lindsey, you've moved on some glorious watches. I love the Aquis, and I can't believe you didn't keep your mint green one. That was just terrific. (Maybe you still have it.) Your Oris BCPD had a similar date mechanism.to the Moonglow. Do you prefer that type of complication to help with your time management? Does seeing the complete ring of dates help? :D

I like white dial watches. It's a nice look. I'm very impressed with the pictures on the forum now of the white dial GMT.
