Came looking for this after seeing your post in the CWLOTD. Great watch and loving the lume.

I wonder what CW do with the actual spitfire cut-outs(the inner piece)? They would have looked nice put onto the certificates.

Maybe they're hoarding those for a future release

This question was raised on another thread. Kip said he might try to track down the answer. Here is what Mick said in that other thread, "An educated guess would be..... that the remaining quantity of Duralumin will go back to TMB Art Metal, melted down to produce the Sculptures and other items they make from the P7350 replaced structure."

It really would have been nice to have the cut-out attached to the Certificate of Authenticity, but, I would suppose, it's far too late for that!!! It really is a very, very fine watch and I feel fortunate in owning one. Thanks!!

I didn't forget...just awaiting a response. Things have been a bit hectic in Maidenhead.

I thought I might give you a bit of an update on the C8 P7350...Today was day 5...did not let it stop...wound it at about 10 a.m. which means it ran 114 hours on one full wind (since Monday)...never owned a twin barrel hand cranker...I'm duly impressed...it lost 14 secs in 114 hours...about 5 full days worth...when I wound it this morning it took 81 turns of the crown until fully wound...the SH21...CW's in-house workhorse movement...I like it!!!

When I gave my initial impression to Wera, as she had requested, I suggested that there were NO pics of the movement as it is in this iteration, and that they should at least post the pic that is in the Owner's Handbook...if you go to the website where it is for sale, it looks like they did just that!!! Have a great weekend...here's the SH21, hand wind version:

Without the rotor, it has a few less jewels, but still an impressive 27!!! Thanks for looking!!!

Thank you for posting that photo of the movement as I was also intrigued to see it.

I know it's in keeping with the watch but I hope other variants get some better movement finishing.

Hopefully, it will on watches with sapphire display backs. The C8 P7350 will rarely be seen and then only by the watchmaker!

As per some requests, here are additional pics of the new shoes which fit just fine...I had been sent the wrong strap and the XL replacement arrived yesterday...very, very pleased with the look...it's the same leather, but with the contrast stitching...Thank you CW for the quick replacement and the extra spring bars...they worked like a charm!!

This was the original strap sent, which is standard size and too short for me:

The new longer strap, with contrast stitching:

And a few more shots of the new shoes:

Thanks for looking and have a great day!!!

Anybody catch the excellent BBC programme on the Battle of Britain, featuring Ewen McGregor and his fighter pilot brother Colin? It's on the iPlayer; worth watching if you're a Spitfire or Hurricane fan.
