Following my post in 'New Members', the above arrived yesterday, and I have taken a few shots.
I thought I'd do something a bit different, so I have taken them with one of my other passions in life, my TVR.
Unfortunately, there is a mark on the lower strap, where it is rubbing with the case, which you can see in the pics. I think I will have to speak to the regarding replacing the strap unfortunately.

Re: New C8 Pilot Mk II U-2 Vintage
Great photos and a lovely looking C8!
That little rubbing mark on the strap is very common with that strap (I've got a couple of them). Even if you got a new one, I'd expect that a similar rubbing mark would appear again before too long. But if they send you a new one, at least you'll have a spare.
Interesting to note that the inside of the strap is lined in white now. My similar (older) straps are unlined, ie it is the natural leather against the skin, and that does causes me some irritation in warm weather. So maybe I should try one of the new ones? Hmmmm....
Thanks again for the great photos.

I do like this combination; the strap complements the watch really well. Next on the list, maybe.

I must really watch too much top gear- I knew that was a TVR immediately when I saw that chameleon-like paint. Awesome looking watch, and I'm sure awesome looking car!

Thanks for the comments.
CW have sent me a replacement strap out today, so hopefully it will fit better. I will wait and see after what Welshlad said. I don't mind if the strap wears over time, but it shouldn't be marked to start with.
Great Customer Service though to send a replacement out first, and one of the reasons I chose CW over other brands

This is one of the few watches that suits the new logo...all the others being the higher end dress watches. Looks great with the tan leather doesn't it, congrats it's a lovely piece
