Have you come to terms with the placement of the 12? Your sample looks ok from your shots so perhaps the problem has been solved?

Thanks very much, gives me a decent idea of size, and also I think I made a good choice with the twin roll strap, suits the sporty yest smart feel of the watch, thanks again!

Robin, there may be some confusion. I returned my C90 last January, due to the slightly misplaced '1' in the '12'. It was very slightly out of kilter, although not visible at any distance.robinbarke wrote:Have you come to terms with the placement of the 12? I hope mine is not wonky or out of line in any way when it arrives, really want one of the flagship cw models that I want to keep, blue chrono was too fat.. same reason I cant buy a c900, so fingers crossed for the c90!downer wrote:Robin, there may be some confusion. If it is no good I'm giving up sand saving for one of my grail watches... a calibre 16 tag carrera chrono or a bremont alt1-c are high on that list.. along with the MBII also... we shall see!

Re: C90 Beckett's - White
I coveted the C90 White for a while. The placement of the 12 is what turned me off it. I think I remember hearing that it wasn't an anomaly on downer's, but a consistent problem. There were also issues regarding the power reserve going well past the 100 marker on a full wind and the too-small date window. I think I'd be tempted to get one still if the price were significantly marked down, but otherwise, I'm glad I passed on it. Not another white-dialed watch!!Macca wrote:

I hope it's to your liking though, James. There seem to be quite a few forumites out there who are more than happy with theirs!

+1 but its still wrong to me.... I like the idea of a Power Reserve and was tempted but could never get to grips with the design and those numbers look plain wrong to me whether straight or skewed. Personal preference I know.Loddonite wrote:I agree with Ian that it looks nicer than the black version.
Very sporty!
Anyway, only reason I'm responding is that after 2 years of searching I'm on the brink of an inbound 1991 Breitling Reserve de Marche Power Reserve Windrider with white face - quite a scarce beast. Best news is it has box / papers and managed to haggle and get it for less that a NN C90.... Pics on arrival methinks
