Presumably it was Christopher Ward, or someone who works for him.

On reading downers latest thread about his gorgeous new omega co axial, sounds as if he too will be returning this one to cw ... Another case of wonky numerals on a c90! Such a shame but the face detailing lets the valgranges movement down here, and he rest of the c9 family are so classy i cannot understand how cw produced this one model so lacking....

This forum could spell my financial end. Congrats on a very stunning looking piece.

...and sounds as if the weak detailing is resulting a return under the 60/60 :silent:

Seems like a load of these have been / are being returned + the one still on the NN page means that CWL might had a glut of NN's that they can't shift. If they start to knock these out at 50% discount rather than 30% I might be persuaded to overlook the slight 12 offset! :D

My mum noticed as soon as I showed her, and the six is a bit off as well apparentley. Think mine is going back. Real shame as I love the watch but it is too much of a niggle for the amount I spent on it. As I.I.D said 50% and I could over look it

And another one....

I really like the watch overall, including the dial, but I just can't live with the noddy numbers and the alignment is definitely out on the 12.

I wonder if it would be possible for CW to rework the watches with another dial with different/better quality markers/numbers?

Shame, as I say its a nice piece overall and Downers pictures were enough to convince me to look at it in the flesh, but back it must go.

Interestingly they use the same number font style for the C11's and if you look at the pictures on the CWL website they exhibit the same 'idiosyncracy' of the bottom left corner of the 2 not lining up with the 1. I'm just wondering if this is simply a peculiarity of the font either in the way the figures line up, or if they create a slight optical illusion.

Better make way for loads of C11's coming back onto the NN market

Not sure I can see anything wrong on my C11, it's definitely a keeper. :D

50% off might become a scratch to itch but even so, the C9 auto still looks way classier to me. Could there be more NN stock after the sale than before after so many CW forum members have returned them under the 60/60? :silent:

Agreed, at 50% (or more!?!) off list then this might become a temptation but ONLY at that level of discount given the apparent compromise in the fit & finish.

Downer you don't have a wrist shot of this watch do you? I would quite like to see one if possible?
