C9 - Silver Face - Brown Strap
I just picked up this brown CW strap for my C9. Let me say, I think it looks absolutely fabulous! Especially the blued second hand with the brown strap.

Re: C9 - Silver Face - Brown Strap
It's interesting what photos will do. That is definitely the "greyest" I've ever seen a C9. Still looks mighty sweet though.

That's a good classic look.

No more Quartz (except when I cannot resist).
Re: C9 - Silver Face - Brown Strap
I agree. The silver dial and brown strap is my favourite combo.

Looks terrific. I spent ages to decide on the black face or silver face - went for the black and love it but this one looks great too. I also swapped the black strap for the brown - more classic

The dingy flourescent lights at work probably affect the color. They also suck the pigment right out of your skin.Peteo wrote:It's interesting what photos will do. That is definitely the "greyest" I've ever seen a C9. Still looks mighty sweet though.

Love that watch. I'm considering buying one for myself, with the brown strap also. This might be a strange question, but what does your wrist measure as I'm worried the watch may be too small for my wrist.
Cheers

Re: C9 - Silver Face - Brown Strap
My wrist is around 6.5". I think the top of my wrist is fairly flat with a lot of real estate for a watch case. My sweet spot in terms of size seems to be 43mm-45mm. Hope this helps!
Re: C9 - Silver Face - Brown Strap
Cheers. Same size as wrist as myself. I ended up buying one and received it on Friday. Absolutely love the watch, although I'm going to get a new strap as I find it a bit uncomfortable with the clasp on my wrist after wearing it for a while. How you finding the strap?

Re: C9 - Silver Face - Brown Strap
Congrats! The black strap is nice and broken in, but I have not worn the brown strap enough so it is still somewhat stiff. The clasp does not bother me though.
Re: C9 - Silver Face - Brown Strap
The C9 GMT was my first Christopher Ward. Looks great on a brown strap but almost as good on the black leather as well.
Now that I've received my new C3 Malvern it only takes seconds to chop and change their straps.I'll try to post photos later

Re: C9 - Silver Face - Brown Strap
Nice looking watch, is the brown strap a darker shade in person than on the photos on the CW site?
