Each to their own and different strokes for different folks and all that. Not for me though although I am becoming mildly interested in the benefits of NATO and ZULU straps.

I like it. Though when I read the title of your thread I feared I would not.

It looks good if you ask me.

I have just bought a NATO for my TAG with photos to follow upon delivery.

I think the grey is the most versatile NATO, it blends very well with stainless steel. Still think the watch would look best on a black alligator though. :D
No more Quartz (except when I cannot resist).

Thanks for the feedback. I received two compliments in one day while wearing this watch on the NATO for "casual" Friday.

I don't have the actual alligator, but I do have the black leather with alligator grain - I agree, the watch looks best with the black. In your opinion, is the actual alligator worth it?

I only have one real alligator strap, a brown on my C7, it looks and feels good but is it worth the extra, probably not as it would not be any more hardwearing than a cowhide strap.

The alligator straps are nicer, especially the tan one. Whether they are worth the extra is an individual choice. On a £6,000 watch the price is almost immaterial but on a CWL it is quite a chunk extra. As an aside my girlfriend does not like the alligator as it does not smell like "real" leather.

Liking the NATO. They are very versatile.

I like the color...just not the Nato. That's because I am not a Nato fan.

I might try a gray leather for a change though. Thanks for the idea. :)

I'd be interested to see a pic of that Kip if you try it out.I fear it may accentuate my hair though!
