C8MKII

Post by schticy »

This was the third and final of my January sale purchases and just arrived yesterday. I'm really pleased with it (even happy with the black on white date for this C8 variation):

I had been a bit worried about how it would look on wrist as, but the shape of the lugs really helps make it wear smaller than it is:-

Another beautiful movement

Really impressed with the strap - much more robust feeling and looks better to me than the one that came with my C9

Very nice photography! I like the Mark I and II. And wondering if CW will evolve the line to a Mark III eventually? Maybe run a long course like IWC and get up to Mark XVI?

Mark III !!! I'm sure it'll be here some day!! For the moment I couldn't be happier with the mark II - but it can't be long until I'm looking for the next CW to add to my collection. :D

Couple more photos - showing the brushed steel clasp and another ETA movement:

Excellent photos. I had similar worries about my Mk1, went through a period when I was a bit down on it and even thought of selling it a few times. Although it's big, it actually wears very comfortably, and I'm wearing it as I write this. It's one my watches of choice at weekends. Congratulations on your acquisitions - enjoy! 8)
