C8 Pilot Mk II Vintage U-2 (and C700 Grand Rapide Chrono)

Post by RockyRacoon »

I'm no photographer and I'm completely new to Flickr, so I hope these are ok. Here are a few shots of my brand new C8 Mk II, plus one with its bigger brother.

I've got small wrists, but this sits comfortably on the tightest setting: http://www.flickr.com/photos/80830891@N ... 211575110/

And here's how it fits on the underside of my wrist: http://www.flickr.com/photos/80830891@N ... 211575110/

Just out of the box: http://www.flickr.com/photos/80830891@N ... 211575110/

And finally alongside my C700: http://www.flickr.com/photos/80830891@N ... 211575110/

Very nice, especially the C8. Black on black dial / case really works well.

Oh, and great pictures too, I really have to put more effort in to mine (or get new glasses).

Nice photos and a good contrast of styles. Any differences in the way they wear?

I had the C8 MK11 Vintage when it was first released. In my case i couldnt get on with it and sold it within a month. For me its a very thin watch and it would be much better a few MM's deeper. And after buying it i realised im not really a fan of black cased watches.

Nice pics! The C8 Pilot MK II Vintage was my choice as my first CW. Somehow, I instead got a C5 Malvern and then a C60 GMT. No regrets on those 2 purchases, but now I'm feeling the original urge for the C8 Pilot. Writing this at 3 a.m., jet-lagged, you see. I should have just counted sheep.
