As this afternoon was quite an unseasonably nice day, I thought Brooklands would be a perfect winter afternoon destination in the 911, so brought the C70GB out of hibernation with the camera.... The downside is it reminded me why it was in hibernation as it needs a new bezel (previous owner was a bit careless), so I'll have to contact Wera when she is back!

Indeed - will have to think of the most apt timepiece to take to Monaco. I reckon the next batch of C70's (or even a c700 SE) could be Bluebird or Goodwood themed....

Thanks, its a 6 speed manual C2, mk1 997 (05) with most of the options that I would have specc'd myself - basalt black metallic, colour keyed 19" "sport design" wheels with silver rim edges and crested centres, sports exhaust, de-badged with simple 911 script only, Xenons, sports seats / extended black leather, PCM sat nav, Bose, colour keyed basalt console. Have had it for 2 years after a succession of other Porsche's, Lotus, and a Ferrari, but this is the most complete car as an all-rounder. i can even get my godchildren in the back on occasion!

Don't want to be accused of going too far off topic though - I can almost hear JAG typing (sorry Andrew)!

now that could be something for the GTG!
