C6 Kingfisher

Post by Beastmaster »

Been playing about with the camera today and took a few pictures of my Yellow Kingfisher. Still adore this watch and never tire of looking at the face. You sort of feel like you can fall into it and the yellow is just a perfect shade of yellow.

Hi there.

Very nice photos, very nice watch!
I was torn between yellow and orange for mine and went for orange.....but now I wish I had both!
The colours are lovely and you'd be lucky to find a watch this elegant that is also good for 30 aps. at anywhere near the price.
Thanks for the view of your shots,
Cheers! 8)

Those are good photos - like you, I have the yellow one. Good idea in that snow...UB

Looks brilliant, Beastmaster - I got exactly the same C6 spec for my birthday. I love the way the light plays on the face, which has a really rich sheen from some angles.

How did you get on adjusting the strap for size?

Thanks everyone! :D

I have very small wrists. I adjusted the strap for size just fine by cutting with a vey sharp stanley knife. Refitting the strap to the watch was the devil's own to be honest and in truth I did it by cheating a bit. I took the metal pins out and bent them ever so slightly and then I was able to get thestrap to ping back in.

The face colours combined with the saphire crystal do make for an awesome look to the faces on the Kingfisher it has to be said.

I must admit that after looking at a yellow Breitling recently, and after Joe's comments about yellow dials in the past, and now seeing these photos, if this ever shows up as an auto I might just have to bite on it.

Thanks for the great photos.

Uh huh! See, these yellow dials are killer. Love the shot in the ice!

I really like the way the silicon strap contrasts with the yellow face, not sure it would be quite as bold if you'd gone for the steel strap...I now want one.

Great picture Hans. This really is a very photogenic watch. However, even the photos don't do justice to the beauty of the yellow face!
